Short Biography
Frank has been a small business owner and entrepreneur for over 25 years. During that time he has gained a tremendous amount of experience in graphic design especially in the area of web design.
Frank knew early on that he enjoyed art. Initially inspired by his middle school art teacher and then even more by his high school art and drafting teachers, he embarked on the journey that has lead him to be one of Mid-Michigan's most prolific animators and web designers.
For his higher education, Frank spent his first two years at Olivet College in the studio art and teaching program. While he enjoyed the hands-on aspect of studio art such as painting and sculpting, he ultimately came to realize that he desired to use the computer to develop graphics. While at Lansing Community College he honed his skills in graphic design, commercial art and 3D animation.
Upon graduation from Lansing Community, Frank began his adventures into small business ownership. MAXanim Computer Animation was THE place to go in Mid-Michigan for any type of animation or video graphics. Frank's reputation also grew with regards digital graphics. This reputation won him his first web design job in 1991 with Voyager Information Systems, Michigan's first ISP. During the course of working with Voyager Info Systems, Frank became acutely aware of this incredible new way of marketing called "web sites".
In 1994 he joined forces with 4 other small business owners that were all in advertising related fields to form Synergy Soup Advertising, a full service ad agency. Synergy Soup quickly became known as the driving force behind web design in Mid-Michigan and in 2000 Frank took the helm as CEO of the new reformed Synergy Soup Interactive.
In 2010 Frank continued to be a leader in the digital industry by venturing into the newest form of digital marketing by forming Reddawg Mobile Marketing Solutions. Under Frank's leadership, Reddawg Mobile became Mid-Michigan's leader in SMS Marketing and in less then a year grew to include 7 Mid-Michigan sales staff and expanded to the Detroit and Grand Rapids, MI markets to a total of 11 sales staff.
From June of 2011 through December of 2012 Frank was the Marketing Manager for Inspired Marketing, LLC. In his role as Marketing Manager, he was responsible for all graphic design from print to web to kiosk. He managed all visuals for multiple marketing campaigns simultaneously.
Frank has coached football for two prominent organizations over the last 14 years. 12 years of youth (4th-8th grades) in Grand Ledge with the largest youth football program in the state of Michigan and 2013 will be his 4th year with the Capital City Stealth (Lansing's Minor League team). He has coached RBs, QBs, DBs and LBs with the Stealth. During the 2011 season he was also the Assistant Offensive Coordinator. In 2013 he was named as the Assistant General Manager and is helping to lead this nationally reccognized team to even newer heights within the minor league / semi-pro football arena.
